Here’s the deal: A charcuterie board can have whatever you want. You just have to lay it out so it’s pleasing to the eye. This is what we like here at Meat the Crunch
Here’s what we like on our board:
Meat the Crunch Salami Chips
Ingredients:
- A beautiful platter to lay it on
- Any variety of your favorite sliced, cured meats. Especially Meat the Crunch Salami Chips
- A variety of cheeses, sliced or whole making sure you have a cheese knife close by.
- Crudite (crunchy raw vegetables)
- Variety of Nuts
- Pickles, Olives
- Grapes, Berries yada, yada
- Dips, Tapenades, Spreads – whatever you prefer
- Crackers and Breads
To goal of this is to make everything stand out. Don’t just throw it all on a platter.
Fold the cured meats and put them all in a row.
For sliced cheese, you can mix up the varieties in a line or separate them
For bulk cheese, put it on the board close to the end so you see where it will fit.
Crudite: You can stand up the crudite in a small (juice-sized) glass. It will take up less room
Pickles, Olives, and Capers can share a small “dip” sized bowl or they can be separated.
Dips go in dip-sized bowls of course
Line the breads and crackers up, not necessarily in a straight line. You can curve it on the board for a beautiful display
Gently place Meat the Crunch salami chips in fan form or stack them.
Add grapes, cherries, and strawberries (whatever you like) on blank spots on the board.
Let your friends and family see the true artist you are!!!!
